Samara from The Ring, 2002 Actress: Daveigh Chase

Daveigh Chase may only be 26 years old, but she has appeared in a number of truly iconic movies and also TV shows, such as Donnie Darko, ER and Charmed. She’ll forever be known, however, as Samara in The Ring.

Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th, 1980 Actor: Ari Lehman

The character Jason Voorhees has been played by a number of different actors, but the first to play the role was Ari Lehman. He played Jason as a youngster. During his audition for the movie Friday the 13th, they cast him immediately, telling him: “You have the necessary measurements, we’ll take you.“ The boy was only 15, and his height was 180 cm (5′ 9”)!

Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street, 1984 Actor: Robert Englund

We all know Freddy Krueger and his famous “One, two, Freddie’s coming for you” line. The mad serial killer was played by Robert Englund, and it remains his most famous role. Alongside Doug Bradley, Englund is the only actor to ever star as the main character in a horror movie eight times in a row. He still likes acting in movies, and is regularly invited to participate in horror films.

Having starred in comedies and horror movies alike, her role as Valak, in The Conjuring 2 shot her to fame, thanks to her incredible acting and horrifying make up work.
