After receiving the call explaining the eldest sister of the Kessler clan was in labor, family members rushed to her bedside at the Pickerington, OH hospital. Everyone of the soon-to-be mom’s siblings arrived, patiently waiting to meet their little niece for the first time.

Knowing this was really the only chance he had, Grant took the opportunity to make a good first impression quite seriously. At least, that’s what he told his 16-year-old sister, Iris, before putting on a full suit.

Iris took the internet to make sure the entire world knew what an adorable and thoughtful older brother she had. Captioning the photo with, “My sister is about to have a baby and my brother showed up to the hospital in a suit because ‘first impressions matter,'” the 16-year-old definitely got the job done.

250,000 favorites and 79,000 retweets later, the photo became an internet sensation! 18-year-old Grant and his manners made waves all over the world … just in time for the birth of little Carter.

Born January 3, 2017 to the eldest sibling of the Kessler clan, Carter claimed a spot as one of the first babies of the new year.

Of course, Iris didn’t forget to update her new Twitter ‘family’ with photos of her adorable little niece. She shared this photo with the caption,“HEY GUYS MEET MY NEW BEST FRIEND HER NAME IS CARTER!!!!”

The excited brother, sisters, and parents passed around the precious newborn, taking turns holding the newest member of the family. Cradling Carter in her arms, 16-year-old Iris promised the brand new baby would be well-informed.

“She’s going to grow up hearing this story so I’m sure she will know that it happened, and think it’s funny,” the beaming new aunt stated.
