Many of us love watching shows like ‘American Idol’ or ‘The X Factor’. It’s inspiring to see talented people showing off what they can do, but the best auditions are the truly emotional ones.
This audition comes to us from the 2012 edition of ‘The X Factor: UK’ and features singer James Arthur, who would actually go on to win the competition and launch a successful musical career. His song ‘Impossible’ has become a big hit and we can surely expect more great things from the 28-year-old in the years to come.
Back in 2012, Arthur was unknown. He took to the stage and shared his story with the world. His parents got divorced when he was young and Arthur simply couldn’t deal with his dysfunctional family, so he decided to put himself into foster care.
For his audition, his mom and dad decided to forget about their troubled past and come together to support their son.
As soon as James began to sing, the entire audience was captivated, and his remarkable voice soon brought a few people to tears, including his estranged father.
