Mistakes happen all the time, even in movies. Directors try so hard to get that perfect scene, but whether it’s actors simply messing up their lines, the budget running out, or just pure editing laziness, mistakes happen!

Below is a list of 17 ridiculous mistakes that happened in some really famous movies that got caught by the audience.

1. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)

In the scene where Sam says his farewells to Frodo, he somehow managed to lose his beige vest between shots.

After agreeing that Frodo should have a scar on his cheek, they for some reason kept forgetting which side it was supposed to be on. The scar moved to either side of his face throughout the scene.

2. Deadpool (2016)

In the uncomfortably gory scene where Deadpool thinks it’s the best idea to saw his hand off, if you took a closer look, you would realise that he sawed off his left one. However, in the scene right after, his right hand is the one that is missing.

3. Star Trek Beyond (2016)

In this scene, Captain Kirk considers his on-board safety and fastened in his seat belt around his waist. In the scene right after though, his seat belt has moved to being on his shoulder.

4. Cleopatra (1963)

The costumes used in the movie were made so that they not only fit the actress, but also to highlight her exquisiteness, even if it meant using fashion from a different era. Which is why Cleopatra is walking in high heels in this scene.

5. Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)

Nothing is safe from bad filmmakers, not even mailboxes. This scene starts off with a girl opening a mailbox with a pretty big hole made for letters, then the hole somehow gets smaller, and finally it’s gone completely.

6. Pearl Harbor (2001)

This pilot must be extremely talented if he’s able to draw perfectly with both of his hands. We first find him drawing his masterpiece with his left hand, next shot he’s drawing with his right, then back to his left again.

Holding a star pin to place on the map to mark a spot, the next shot shows that the pin is in fact a circle.

Miss Peregrine’s children must have gone for seconds because in the first shot you can see Claire had finished her food, but somehow her plate is full in the next shot.

8. The Fifth Element (1997)

Korban starts the scene grabbing the water stone off of Cornelius, which somehow becomes the fire stone. Then the water stone is back with Cornelius.

9. Jurassic Park (1993)

Hammond can be seen wiping a glass using a basic small white towel, but in the next shot the white towel becomes a much bigger red towel.

10. Now You See Me 2 (2016)

I guess when you’re running for your life from the FBI, it makes perfect sense to find somewhere to change into your own clothes after being dressed as a security guard.

11. Colombiana (2011)
