Funny Video Shows How A Mother Would Have Handled Robert Kelly’s BBC Interview Dilemma

It’s funny because it’s (somewhat) true!

If the name ‘Robert Kelly’ doesn’t ring any bells with you, you’ve probably still heard his story. Kelly was recently being interviewed via video call on the BBC. The interview was then interrupted when his kids burst into the room, and the incident has since gone viral.

New Zealand’s comedy show, Jono and Ben, created a funny parody of the interview, imagining what it would be like if the mother was involved in the situation instead of Kelly.

Headlined by Kate Woodsworth, this video is a commentary on the burden that most women bear as mothers.

The video shows her talking about South Korea, just as Kelly was when her kids waltz in. Not only does she sit her first kid on her lap, but she hands the other a toy, all while continuing to elegantly talk about the subject of the interview.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg, as she proceeds to feed her babies, clean the toilet, make dinner, AND diffuse a bomb, all the while answering questions and furthering the debate with the man back in the BBC studio.
