Chilling Photos Show An Abandoned Disney World Ahead of Hurricane Matthew's Arrival

For the first time in over 11 years, Disney World have shut down all four of its parks, in preparation for the arrival of Hurricane Matthew

Thanks to Hurricane Matthew, Disney World in Orlando, Florida has shut down for the first time in more than 11 years.

What is supposed to be the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’ very quickly became the creepiest.

Usually so packed you can barely move, it’s absolutely bizarre seeing the park almost completely empty.

A few ‘lucky’ folks got the chance to explore it during the closure.

We’ve all seen the creepy old abandoned small-town theme parks before, but this is Disney World, which makes it a whole lot more disturbing.

It’s a harsh reminder of just how dangerous Hurricane Matthew can be.

The hurricane has already claimed over 500 lives in Haiti.

So if that wasn’t concerning enough, this certainly should be.

Sorry Folks the park is closed. #wdw #waltdisneyworld
