The knowledge most people have of Tasmanian Devils is limited to the Looney Tunes character Taz. We all remember seeing the menace wreaking havoc like a tornado.
The cartoon representation of the Tasmanian Devil might have been a little inaccurate, though, at least if this video is anything to go by!
Tasmanian Devils aren’t only devils because of their propensity for chaos, but also because of their darn good looks, especially when they’re younger. These hell-raisers are indigenous to the island of Tasmania and grow to about a dog’s size at most.
This little runt, however, has yet to grow. You can see him in the hand of his keeper. The keeper, Tim Faulkner, works at Devil Ark in Tasmania. Spanning 13 acres, the Devil Ark serves to protect Tasmanian Devils and make sure they survive extinction.
Faulkner shared the video to raise awareness of the plight of the Tasmanian Devil. He hopes to guide people to making a better home for these handsome little guys, and after seeing this cutie in the video, we hope he succeeds.
