OrangeTheory Fitness is the latest fitness trend to hit our commercial markets. But whatever your opinion of their highly technological methods may be, you have to admit their way is pretty unique. This makes every OrangeTheory class special in it’s own hilarity!
1. When you’re asked to start in the weight room as a punishment for being tardy.
2. When your attempt at cancelling fails because you’re told it’s less than 12 hours till class.
3. After finding out all the week’s classes are booked…
4. When you’re told to shift from a warm-up to the base pace.
5. Getting caught while procrastinating.
6. “Tornado Day!” – The day of the highest intensity workouts.
7. Witnessing the looks of defeat of the faces of the previous class as they exit.
8. The moment when the oldest person in the class is lifting more weights than you.
9. The rowing machine.
10. Trying to do an all-out run.
11. A 90-second sprint.
12. After the trainer replaces your weights with heavier ones.
13. Being told after completing your last block, “looks like we have time left over to do some abs”.
14. Catching yourself in the mirror during the workout.
15. When it finally ends.
16. After seeing your ‘splat’ points and burned calories.
17. Thinking about the space you just emptied for some yummy food.
18. Thinking that, in hindsight, the whole thing was quite a learning experience.
19. Feeling fit and zen the rest of the day.
